The well established restaurant, Chez Isabelle, is a 2 minute walk from the House
and serves a delicious 5 course lunch for under 10 euros (including wine and cider.)
There is also a small bar in the village, and there is a choice of restaurants and bars in
nearby Mur de Bretagne, (5 minutes by car) and in the nearby towns of
Loudeac and Pontivy.

For anglers, there is fishing on your doorstep at the lake in St Guen and nearby
at the Lac de Guerlédan.

Lac de Guerlédan is a man made lake, great for fishing, canoeing, water skiing, with
family friendly sandy beaches, and surrounding forest. There’s so much to see and do
including tour boats, a floating restaurant, sailing schools, a water-skiing club,
crazy golf and friendly bars and crêperies offering motorboat and pedalo hire. And if
you just want to take in the view, it’s a great place for a cycle ride or a walk!
If you fancy a swim and the weather isn’t quite so good, there are amazing swimming
pools at the nearby towns of Pontivy and Loudeac

As well as the vibrant Sunday morning market at Bon Repos in the Summer, there is
also a lively Friday evening market at Mur de Bretagne in the Summer months, always with
some entertainment in the form of music, dance or if you’re lucky, both!

The Nantes-Brest canal flows through the Quénécan forest to Bon Repos. Here, in a
beautiful setting, is the Abbaye de Bon Repos, built in the 12th century and its more recent
addition, an excellent visitors centre.There is also a great Sunday morning market
during the summer.
